Dr. med Leonora Houet is a specialist for internal medicine, haematology/oncology and rheumatology. She received her clinical education in the haematology and oncology department of the Albert-Ludwig University hospital Freiburg. In addition to her clinical activity she gained experimental knowledge in the area of tumor immunology during a postdoc stay sponsored by the Dr. Mildred Scheel Foundation at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Brussels as part of Prof. Thierry Boon’s research team. Another focus is the specialty of rheumatology/ clinical immunology. 

In the Center for Cancer Medicine the patients not only benefit from her years of clinical experience but also from her winning and friendly demeanour. Her thoughtful manner makes it easy for them to gain trust, which is a  good basis for successful treatment. Dr. Houet speaks English, French and some Rumanian.
